PCC Wins National Water Conservation Competition

PCC has won the Campus Conservations Nationals 2015 water conservation grand prize, beating out such major four-year institutions as Wake Forest University and Oberlin College.

This was the first year that Pima competed in CCN, the country’s largest water- and electricity-use reduction competition.

“CCN2015 provided the College an opportunity to showcase the commitment of our facilities teams, and the dedication of our students, staff and faculty to make lasting impacts on our carbon footprint and reduce electricity and water usage districtwide,” said PCC Vice Chancellor for Facilities Bill Ward.
