The College’s annual Fashion Show, featuring works by students of the Fashion Design and Clothing Department, marked a milestone last spring, selling out the historic Fox Tucson Theatre and making nearly $10,000.
Fashionarte: An Urban Fusion of Art, Cuisine and Fashion on May 4 celebrated Etherton Gallery, honoring founder Terry Etherton and using works by local artists in his collection as inspiration for the students’ designs.
The show raised $4,000 for student awards thanks to the larger venue and addition of a VIP pre-show cocktail reception for approximately 250 guests, as well as a silent auction.
