Learn How to Live a Healthier Lifestyle

It is never too late to learn new skills and make lifestyle changes that promote health, wellness and fitness.

In Pima’s FAW 184: Health, Wellness and Physical Activity (CRN 13220) class, you will learn how to make behavioral changes over your lifetime, the health benefits of cardiovascular and resistance training, healthy eating,
and approaches to dealing with stressful life events.

This three-credit online class runs Aug. 19 through Dec. 14.

Understanding Nutrition

Whether you just want to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle or you’re interested in the science behind eating, Pima’s FSN 154: Nutrition class will help you gain a deeper understanding of how your body breaks down and reacts to different kinds of food, how your body uses nutrients for growth and development, and how to maintain your health through proper diet. Various sections of this three-credit course are offered online.

Simple Ways to Get and Stay Financially Healthy

Being financially healthy doesn’t necessarily mean being rich. But whatever your income, you can take steps to improve your finances, prepare for a rainy day and ease your mind. In Pima’s STU 102: Personal Finance (CRN 10874) class, you will learn practices to build a strong financial foundation for your future. You will gain a deeper understanding of how to establish short-term and long-term financial plans, and how to wisely spend, invest and save money.

This one-credit online class runs Oct. 15 through Dec. 14.
